Music for people who like music.

Girls. Strings. Harmonies.

Lois and the Lantern is a zesty non-denominational Colorado string band made up of 4 bad ass chicks: Saja Butler (banjo, guitar, ukulele and vocals), Theresa Brodzinski (guitar, harmonica, banjo, trumpet, vocals), Tara Lynne Sparks (bass), and Mary Merritt (mandolin, vocals). The four ladies met at a monthly women's musical gathering, where they soon discovered a natural connection in music (and whiskey). Lois and the Lantern has a diverse musical palette, which sparks them to constantly write originals that fuse multiple genres such as bluegrass, blues, folk, rock, punk, pop and more.

"Trail Song"

by Theresa Brodzinski

This is a great song about love, leaving things behind, starting new things, and all kinds of awesome stuff. We love playing it! Enjoy.
